My Second Room

I got a chance to stop by my new room today.  It had already been furnished with a bed, a wooden cabinet, and a mini bookshelf.  There was also a portable fan and a heater.  The room is well-lit and has two doors; one leads to the inside of the house (living room, bathroom, and kitchen), and the other is a separate entrance to the front of the house, or to the garden area in the backyard.  I really like this room so far.  I will need a desk of some sort.  I might have to stop by Ikea and buy a TV stand.  The lady owner showed me a flat screen TV in her room and said I could use it so I that don't have to buy a new one (so cool of her).  I now officially have two places to stay, but I probably won't furnish this room until late December or early January.

The lady house owner seemed really nice, which is a big relief.  She left a good impression when she helped me clean the room, and told me to let her know if I was going to sleep there tonight so that she could put a drape up from outside the window to keep the heat in.

I chatted with the family for a bit, and then took a nap.  My parents stopped by at night without warning to check up on me through the other entrance.  I think will stop by this place more often when this fall quarter/semester ends.
