A Walk in the Neighborhood

Went for a walk tonight in an affluent neighborhood.  The houses were soo pretty.  A few houses had a nice fragrance to them as I walked pass by.  I literally had to pause to figure out where the "perfume" was coming from.  It was from a type of flower that I hadn't seen before.  One house had a nice healthy kumquat tree that was sticking out into the sidewalk.  I couldn't help myself but picked a kumquat off of it.  Some houses had a cold feeling to them; they were dark and secluded.  Some were super open, I could literally stand there in the sidewalk and watch their TV.  Some houses had clear full-sized windows where I could see straight into the living room and the kitchen.  One house had a dog sitting by the window in a beautiful living room, just staring out the window.  Some houses looked a bit plain, although still nice.  A few houses looked like vacation properties.  There were too many beautiful houses in this neighborhood!! Makes me really want to have my own beautiful house someday.  After about an hour, time was running out because of work the next day, and I had to head home.
